New Work on Display at City Hall
As part of the Rising Tide exhibition featuring new acquisitions to the City of Ottawa permanent collection, this piece is currently on display at the City Hall art gallery in Ottawa until February 11, 2024. The piece is called “77 Falling Men; 3 Falling Women; 1 Falling Bird, Horse and Cow; One Man on Fire”.
Rising Tide: 2023 Additions to the City of Ottawa Art Collection
I have six new pieces which are part of the new acquisitions by the City of Ottawa for their permanent collection. On display from December 1st, 2023 to February 11, 2024 at the City Hall Art Gallery (110 Laurier Ave West, Ottawa)
Opening: Thursday, December 14, 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Speeches will begin at 6 pm.
Free admission. Access is limited to the Laurier Avenue entrance during exhibit events.
Rising Tide: 2023 Additions to the City of Ottawa Art Collection features work by 45 artists who use their artistic practices to explore themes related to a wide variety of societal challenges such as the climate emergency, numerous plights of equity and justice, housing security and the cost-of-living crisis, while offering diverse perspectives on identity and memory. a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.
I’ll have new visual work on display at the 2023 Noir Art Festival November 3 - 5 at Lansdowne Park, Horticultural Building, in Ottawa. The Noir Festival showcases professional artists from Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto and has to be one of the best places outside of galleries to see such a selection of great art.

2023 Best Regional Artist
I was awarded the Best Regional Artist prize by the Ottawa Art Gallery at the 2023 New Art Festival in Ottawa. What an honour!

Pieces from my Falling Men series will be up at the Manx in Ottawa for January/February, 2023. This exhibition features a lot of new work from the past couple of years. In addition to what is available at the Manx, I will also have new pieces up in my store soon.
